Hello water-loving people!
Today marks a big day for our project. Our research container has started its journey to Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Here's a picture of my baby. It's about 25,000 pounds (maybe, gotta' find out how much it weighed...) of desalination and photovoltaic equipment. I guess I should tell you a little bit about the project. Our research is geared to research, develop, and transfer desalination technology to farmers in developing nations. Our team competed in the Desal Prize last year and received second place. Now, we are working with colleagues at UPi to test the system in a new location with a new water source. Stay tuned for updates. I may post some pictures of previous activities and some details about the system.
If you're interested in partnering, funding, or are just curious, please let me know.
Please be patient with my lack of blogging skills - I'm learning and will get better. :-)
